Did you know that the fashion industry is the second-largest polluter in the world? It is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions!!! We think fashion shouldn’t cost us the planet, but it is still nice to refresh our wardrobe every now and then.

So Mellemrummet’s beloved Swap Shop is back by popular demand! Come and swap your pre-loved clothes for free and refresh your wardrobe without a guilty conscious ?

There will be clothes, shoes, and accessories for men and women. We are also accepting children’s clothes, which will be donated to Trampolinhuset / Trampoline House
There will be two shifts: 11.00 – 13.00 & 13.30 – 16.00 with a break in between, so we can tidy up and add more clothes.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

?Review your closet and collect clean and unbroken clothes/shoes/accessories you are willing to exchange (no socks or underwear, please). Ask yourself if you would be happy to give your pre-loved clothes to your best friend, mum, sister, brother, etc. If it has a hole or stains, please, recycle at your local recycling centre.

?Pack everything up and bring it to café Mellemrummet (Globalhagen reception). You can drop off your clothes from Monday, September 30, to Sunday, October 6, before the event. You can as well bring your clothes to the event, but be prepared to wait in line, so doing it beforehand is a good idea.

?Our lovely volunteers will serve you organic coffee & tea and delicious cake & cookies from our Globalhagen Kitchen. All the profit will go to Plataforma Global El Salvador – the development project we are supporting.

All the leftover clothes will be donated to a charity.
